About the Shred Lesson Trax The object is to have something to back you while you practice, so you're motivated to do so! There are tons of "tunes" here. And they're set up to be played along with each "type" of lesson you're on. These sessions consist of . . . Scales (Yeah, ya gotta learn them! But this'll be fun!) Arpeggios (That's when you play the notes of a chord in a series of notes) Tetra Scales (These are great for your solos if used correctly! Basically a major scale, broken into halves, split around the 5th note of the scale.) Bass & guitar "runs". (These build into solo lines!) Double & Triple Stop Phrases (60's RockNRoll Shuffles like Johnny B. Goode, etc.) Kuell solo lines! (Start building your solos!) Sample Solos! (Practice them along with the Shred trax!) Let's say you're practicing a diminished scale. Pretty boring when done over and over, without hearing what it could sound like over a piece of music. Plus, has anyone really shown you when, where and why to use them? Or HOW! Listen to this track. It's 3 sections of one diminished exercise. Diminished Sample . . . Augmented Sample . . . Don't forget, this is only a sample of the basic Shred Jam Track. You'll have the actual scales, etc. explained, and played for you as well. Plus it's all tabbed out. |
